Microarray Data
In an effort to learn more about the functions of silkworm genes, we designed and constructed a genome-wide microarray with 22,987 70-mer oligonucleotides covering the presently known and predicted genes in the silkworm genome, and surveyed the gene expression in 10 representative sample types. We have constructed a web-browser database of BmMDB to store the silkworm gene expression data. BmMDB could be acessed at http://www.silkdb.org/microarray. All the raw data, normlization data, including tissue-prevalent, -different and -specific genes could be download.
